Last month I posted a tweet on Twitter that was found sexist by some folks. Convoluted and out-of-context, it was a poorly written tweet that I regret writing. I deeply apologize for writing it. It does not reflect my values of equality and inclusivity for all.
This tweet was made by me as a private citizen and not in my official role as vice chair of Senate District 45 DFL; however it ultimately—and unfortunately reflected poorly on other members of the SD45 DFL Central Committee as well. Something I also regret.
Going forward I will be more careful with what I post on social media.
