2026 Senate District 45 DFL Convention is coming!

NOTE:  We will be entering a different door than in the past; check back for special logistics information.  Delegates will get instructions provided directly to them.

• Adopting Convention Rules and Agenda

• Endorsements of candidates for our two House Districts and our Senate District (currently declared):

  • 45A - Tracey Breazeale  (traceyformnhouse.com)

  • 45B - Representative Patty Acomb (pattyacomb.com)

  • 45 Senate - Senator Ann Johnson Stewart (annjohnsonstewart.com)

• Electing new Senate District 45 DFL Officers/Directors/State Central Committee Members

• Updating SD45 DFL Constitution and ByLaws

• Electing 22 Delegates and 22 Alternates to the CD3 and State DFL Conventions (same for both)

• Adopting up to 44 Resolutions (draft ballot will be provided to delegates via e-mail)

Non-Attendee Forms

If you cannot attend Caucus in person on Feb 3rd, you can submit a non-attendee form to ask to be a delegate to the Senate District 45 DFL Convention, submit a Resolution, or ask to be a Precinct Chair (2 year role). E-mail the completed form to Cathy Olson, Chair, at c.olson@sd45dfl.org

Resolutions

One of the important tasks that each caucus meeting will be considering resolutions to update our party platform. If there is an issue you are passionate about you can propose items for inclusion in the platform. To do that you will need to fill out a resolution form for each resolution and bring it on Caucus night (there will also be blank forms available at the Caucus).
